I was taking out the trash when I noticed a flashing light on the lid of the can. I looked up to try and find the source and I saw a large fireball in the sky. It hung in the air about 500 feet off the ground for a few seconds and then shot off into the distance and suddenly dissapeared.
I used to be in the National Guard and I have never seen any military equipment like that.
