Bright Light Fading in and Out in Southwestern part of the sky
I saw a bright light in the sky toward the Southwest. It was about ten times brighter than any star in the sky that night and about 5 times larger. It would go from being extremely bright and fade to almost no light. The object was orange in color. At one point I went inside for a couple minutes and came back out and it was gone. I later came out about 5 minutes after that and it had reappeared. It continued to fade from bright to dim. It was closer than a star yet further than an airplane. An airplane flew underneath the object in the sky and the object didn't seem to be much further than the airplane. I have no idea what this is but I know it is something I can not explain nor have ever seen.
