Bright light slowly descending near Bear Creek - Kelowna, BC, Canada.
On January 11th, 2009, I was at home and watched a bright light (no discernible object) slowly descend behind the mountain near Bear Creek Provincial Park, near Okanagan Lake.
I watched the light for approximately three minutes. The location was to the SW of my home and I took three, 30 second exposures with my camera.
At the time it looked like a flare as it was very brigh and did not diminish in size. From my perspective it appeared to be moving downward on a slight angle.
I did send the photo’s to a local news agency for follow up but never received a reply.
