“Phoenix lights” over Louisiana, New Years night.
It was new years night, so the neighborhood was all outside getting ready for the festivities. Then everyone went quite, and looked to the west.
A large V shaped craft, similar to the “Phoenix Lights,” with large Orange lights on the underside, moved slowely towards New Orleans until out of sight.
