white spot moving silently and rapidly across the sky in 1 direction and then the exact opposite direction
I was looking through my small telescope using the low power eye piece when a rapidly moving white dot moved across the field of view from left to right. There was no trail as if from a meteorite entering the atmosphere. The telescope was pointed almost directly overhead, but slightly north and west. The dot moved VERY quickly and was unlike anything I had seen before. I went inside to ask my wife to come out and look to see if she could see anything. I then looked through the eyepiece again and an object that appeared to be the same, moved at the same speed in the exact opposite direction (a reciprocal heading). I've seen the ISS with the naked eye and this object was NOT the ISS. The object was not visible with the naked eye.
