"Cloud" shape moving south, no lights, sound or exhaust at about 16:00
While looking towards the eastern horizon I observed what appeared to be a "cloud" begin to travel at a very high rate of speed. Before I could react, this "cloud" had disappeared into a much larger cloud bank. i would estimate the distance between myself and the cloud bank to be approximately 6 to 8 miles away. I heard no sound and saw no lights or exhaust. Wind conditions, at least on the ground, were dead calm. I should mention that I live about 5 miles from Miramar MCAS. I have never seen any cloud before or since behave in this manner. I would be very interested to know if anyone else has seen anything similar.
