Oval orange light
We were 5 peoples (3 adults and 2 children) around a fire, deep in the woods beside a small lake.
It was Friday, July 25 2008, 11:45pm, very dark outside. I’m the first one that saw something, it looked like the top of a tree was burning, so I told the others to look because the tree is burning, so everyone looked and the light was moving slowly from my right to left, then it stopped right on top of the lake (no trees, nothing) about 400-600 feet from us, it was oval and the same colour as our fire,about 4-6 feet big.
One of us took a flashlight and went on the deck to try to see what it was, but the flashlight wasn’t strong enough. The thing started to move away slowly strait backwards, when it got to the other side of the lake there was a white light on top of the trees (it wasn’t the moon).
We haven’t really talked to no one about it except our close family, we don’t want to look crazy. We are all average people with good jobs, no drugs or mental problems. But one thing for sure, we would all want to know what it was, because it wasn’t anything we ever saw or heard from.
