2008-06-30 - Circle

One unknown flying craft just staying in one place.

While driving from Florida to Washington D.C., my wife and I saw this single object just hanging in the sky with what looked like a mist or smoke trailing above it. It had no rotors like a helicopter and no noise or exhaust like the hover jets we have seen many times. Yet it remained in one spot the entire time we watched it (about five minutes). We took just this one picture with my lousy cell phone camera and kept driving as it was a long drive for us.

Both my wife and I saw this and were not scared because her friend was followed by a small saucer for about ten miles on a very deserted road in central Florida during the late 1960s. The father was an educated man. (I want nothing that could possibly identify anyone!) Also, one of my relatives was hunting with friends in the forests of the deep South in the 1970s when they were captured and taken aboard a saucer and examined, a very unpleasant experience. My relative was relatively unfazed by the experience, perhaps because he had been in the first Gulf War on the front lines. But one of his friends had a different reaction and went crazy and killed himself. The "visitors" seemed to treat them as we would animals to be examined and tagged. So I and my wife know that we have "visitors" that sometimes do horrible things.

I know this is really late to report but we really don't see our picture as anything significant but possible ridicule prevents us from coming forward with our names.
