Flashing amber lights in Northen Colorado
At 12 midnight on the 9th and 10th of February a flashing amber light was observed. It was flying above the Rocky Mountains along the Front Range, and was at a very high altitude.
The first night it flew south until it disappeared from sight on the southern horizon. This object flashed consistently at 2 second intervals.
The second night it followed the same route along the Front Range, but then arched east and gained more altitude until it disappeared. I watched this light for at least 2 minutes both nights.
After the first sighting, unrelated to the object, 2 planes were observed. I add this because the light I observed had no similarities to the lights on the planes. This was a single flash of light, not the cluster of flashes that we all know to be a plane.
