Orange flash over Alvin, Texas
I was in my vehicle stopped at a red light on the corner of Hwy 35 & Hwy 6.
While waiting I was looking up at the clouds I noticed that they were real low. About a minute after I started looking up I saw an orange flash of light right behind the clouds. It was very long and a little wide in the middle. Very similar to a cigar with pointed ends. It shot from west to east across the sky. The color was orange but a dull orange, not bright. That was it. Lasted about a second. I've seen meteor showers and "falling stars". In my opinion this was neither one.
