The brightest red flashing lights I've ever seen in a delta formation over L.A.
At approximately 7:50 p.m. on December 12, 2007, three pairs of extremely bright red lights were flying from almost due north to south just west of Los Angeles, CA.
The sky was dark, the moon was just a sliver and was setting in the west an hour earlier (behind the trees).
The delta formation had two bright flashing red lights in “front”, with equally spaced bright red flashing lights behind and to each side of the “leader”. The intensity of the red lights were like nothing I have seen in my 55 years of night sky-watching. Dogs in our neighborhood were barking during their fly over.
