Witnessed an orange orb of light that appeared within a few feet of me in my house around 2007.
I recently heard about the clusters of orange and red 'fire balls' being witnessed all over America and that people were invited to contact yourselves regarding these strange orbs of light.
I am from Scotland and myself came into close contact with one of these orbs of light around 5 or 6 years ago. I will go into as much detail as I can as I feel it is better that I tell the entire story of what happened.
Let me just first say that these orbs of light are NOT Chinese lanterns which many people claim them to be. And I will now go on to tell you how I know this as a fact.
It was night time and I was alone in my bedroom one night around 5 to 6 years ago now, and I was listening to music on my computer. At this time I was becoming a more spiritual person and was trying to listen to the music in a more spiritual, prayer type of way. The best way for me to describe this was that I was focussing on my own internal energy, or soul, whatever you want to call it. After a while of doing this type of meditation I crossed my room to turn my light out. I then turned around and began walking to my bed but was stopped in my tracks by an orange ball of light that suddenly just appeared in front of me just a few feet above my own height.
I was terrified and couldn't take my eyes off of it. It was about the size of a tennis ball. It was such a brilliant orange glow, but the glow wasn't emitting like it would from a light bulb, but it was completely within itself.
I'm not sure how else to say this, but I knew it was looking at me. I just felt it in my being that whatever this thing was, it was alive and watching me.
After around maybe 15 to 20 seconds it just shot down past me at an incredible speed and went straight through my floor. For it to be perfectly still for that small period of time then fly down straight through my floor to me means it had to make that decision to move from being still to flying at an amazing speed. So if it made that decision then it had to be alive.
I promise this story is real and that I didn't just imagine or dream it. Ever since I have been fascinated by them and would love to know what they are and where they came from.
Again I would just like to emphasise that these lights are not lanterns or even part of a bigger craft like structure, although some sightings at night may very well be, but for the majority of the light orbs being seen in the sky I believe to be independent balls of light.
