Round white object motionless at high altitude between 20,000 - 30,000'. Disappeared with moving clouds
I observed a small, white, spherical object at high altitude, estimated between 20,000- 30,000'. Despite the high wind moving cirrus clouds in front of it, the object hung motionless. This was observed in the sky northwest of Ojo Caliente, New Mexico, a public spa, where it was observed by others in my vicinity, as well as neighbors in my hometown, several miles away. After an hour of no motion, a cloud bank covered the sphere and when the clouds blew away, it was gone.
I was a general aviation pilot for twenty years with much experience identifying objects at various altitudes. This object was clearly not an airplane, weather-balloon or helicopter. Nor was it a satellite or a star, considering the daytime observation.
I do not do drugs or alcohol and have no record of mental imbalance or delusional behavior. As this object was seen by others in the same part of the sky and general area, there is validity to this observation.
