Communicating green lights

My now husband and I were laying down to go to sleep. He looks out the window and says "what is that light in the woods? It's to low to be a star." After about 10 or 15 min of him trying to get me to look out the window by questioning what this light could be, I finally do so.

From the window is the yard that butts up to woods. The woodline to the window is approximately 20 yards. The woods are thick and there isnt anyone who lives close to this woodline area.

I peer out the window and see a softball size neon green light hovering about 4ft off of the ground right next to the woodline. I stare at it for a moment and it starts blinking slowly on and then off. I keep watching it inching closer to the window to figure out what this light is. It starts blinking faster, I keep watching. As I keep watching the faster it blinks. Then as the light blinks off another green light blinks on down the woodline about 40 yards to the right from the original light. I inch even closer to the window. These two lights blink back a forth together for about a min rapidly increasing their blinking speed. At this point my nose is pressed against the glass of the window as I watch and try to figure out what these light are. One flashes on the other one flashes off still about 40 yards apart from eachother. Faster and faster they blink, like they were communicating between eachother.then they blink one last time. the next thing that happened shook me to ! my core. One of the lights is right outside the window blinking very fast. The green light filled the window. I was face to face with this rapidly blinking green light. I froze and gasped so deeply I couldn't breath. My now husband had to pull me from the window. I didn't look back out of that window for the rest of the night. We never walked to the woodline the next day to see if we could find anything. There wasnt any sound with these lights either. We havent seen any green light on that property since this incident.
