Disc shaped UFO acting strangely in the sleepy UK countryside in broad daylight.
I was playing cricket in the small village of Brockley in the Suffolk countryside, when in a quiet phase of the game, I looked up in the direction towards Bury St Edmunds and spotted a classic shaped disc/saucer. It was a nearly cloudless sky and the disc was lead grey in colour, then when it moved later it brightly reflected the sunlight.
It was totally silent and seemed close, it was large in size and hovering fairly high in the sky. Then it started to fall quickly towards the ground in a spinning motion (the same as when you flip a coin) I turned back to the game as the next ball was being bowled and thought they must be an explosion coming when it hit's the ground. But when I looked up again about 5 seconds later it was gone, not a trace of it in the sky.
It never crossed my mind to shout out to tell the 50 odd people to look upwards, I have never told anybody about this sighting but it has changed my outlook on life. I'm glad I spotted it as it has left me with an interest in UFO's, space and the thought of perhaps we aren't alone.
