Bright light from nowhere
My husband and I were sitting on our friends' patio.
In the NE (we think) area a bright light caught my eye. I thought it was an airplane at first, but then it wasn't moving. So I asked my husband what it was and as we were looking at it together, it seemed to fade.
I have seen meteor showers, falling stars, and things of that nature, but this was weird. It was almost as if a bright light appeared out of nowhere and then slowly disappeared. When it disappeared, it did not move up or down or left or right, it seemed to travel further away...as if traveling further into space because it did not just get dimmer, it got smaller.
