I was facing south, looking over the Gulf of Mexico at the full moon that was rising.
One by one, red lights appeared to the east of the moon. They were bright and silent. They formed a sideways chevron, then disapeared, one by one in the order they appeared.
The entire event lasted pehaps one minute.
