These flew in formation surveying me alone camping in the Nevada desert 500 Lights On Object0: Yes
I was traveling from Arizona to Nevada heading up towards Las Vegas. I decided before going into town I would camp one last night and so I pulled off the main road onto a dirt road and headed in the vicinity of Lake Las Vegas.
Since I was alone I had no time frames to head into Vegas that night. I ended up in the middle of this marshy dry desert creek bed in my Ford Explorer. As the nighttime came around I could see the lights of the jet airliners from McCarran Airport trail off towards the East. As I was looking in a Southerly direction I noticed this star like light getting brighter and brighter as it was headed towards me from the South. This light was very peculiar as I watched it get brighter and larger at first it looked like a star but after about 10 minutes I could tell this light was entering the atmosphere. I then noticed that this light broke off into two other lights and they came down towards me in a triangle formation. Three lights in a perfect triangle formation way above the jet airliner trail path in the distance. I realized that there was another star coming down the same way as the first and it broke off into 3 lights flying in the same triangle formation.
I watched this for about 20 minutes and it seemed as if these two triangle formations were comprised as of 6 total lights. They rotated and came closer down towards my way as I was fascinated watching this distinctively from just outside of my SUV.
I don’t remember falling asleep after that spectacle but I woke up in the driver’s seat of my white Ford Explorer with my hands gripping on the front steering wheel. After I woke up I felt a little surprised and started the car and left for Las Vegas.
This is the truth to the best of my knowledge and I was not under any influence of alcohol nor drugs during my vacation.
