Spouse and I saw a silent, bright fast moving light cross the sky, change color to red, then fade completely away.
My spouse and I were walking in the neighborhood looking up at the full moon. Our attention was caught by a very bright light which at first I thought was a satelite. However, we both were surprised at the size (a VERY large star) and speed of the "satelite". We then thought maybe it was a jet, but there were no blinking lights and no sound. We were watching and wondering when the light began to change to red and then began to fade quickly and then disappeared. We watched the sky a bit longer and saw two planes minutes after the sighting. One passed by the moon similiar to the unidentified flying object which provided us with a good comparison and it looked nothing like the UFO. We don't know what we saw, but in case anyone else reports a sighting in the same time/area we wanted to add further information.
