Shaft of light above Detroit
Facing South and straight up we saw a long flash of light every 20 seconds It was very bright and made no noise. A shaft of bluish-white light went right through the clouds from a stationary position. The flash of light would go straight down about every 20 seconds, but did not reach the ground. The object was above the thin cirrus clouds.
