sharp sparadic white flashes, which had no sound.
On the 13th september we noticed sharp bright white flashes in the sky. At first my dad and i thought it was caused by the military because of the nearby training ground, but we soon realised that these flashes were not aircraft or any form of illumination flare. They were extremley sparadic which occured every few seconds with no sound what so ever. We were very interested by the light and drove up the other side of the valley to get a closer look, on the way up, we saw what seemed to be an enourmous ball of light which flew below the hill line and then shot up towards the sky and just seemed to vanish. Once that had happened the light's had stopped flashing and we havn't seen any thing like it since. I also tried to film the lights however they did not pick up on the camera.
