We were fishing off the North Jetties and my father in law pointed up and said, "What's that?" I then looked up to my left and could see an circular object moving very slowly along the coastline (North to South). It flew almost over us. I'm not sure how low, but it was much lower than the aircraft coming into the airport in Galveston.
The other weird thing is that it made no noise at all, and we could clearly hear the smaller single engine planes when they came in. This object had no lights but we could see because the night sky was clear and the moon was out. We wathced until it was out of sight.
