At 9:30 p.m. I was outside on the porch. Though the brushfires are still out on Krome Avenue in Miami-Dade, Florida, the night and sky was clear of smoke and clouds at that time and stars were bright. All of a sudden, right above the house there was a bright flash of light. I had thought it was a trick of the eye. Then, about a minute later, I was looking up and there was another bright flash of light. There was no rumbling or any other type of noise. Unsettling as it was and having seen other strange events on and off over the past two years, I continued looking into the sky. Nothing else happened.
It is important to note there were no aircraft in the area. The light was not a spotlight, it was much to bright for that.
