Witnessed a red metallic triangle cross the sky over Ormskirk,West Lancashire,UK.
Estimated time 17.10pm.
I was outside in the back garden with my 7 month old daughter enjoying the unexpected good weather,when above me and to the west I noticed the sun shining off something. As I watched I noticed the object was red in colour and of a triangular shape,but more rounded at the edges.The object seemed to tumble or spin and there was absolutely no sound at all apart from a neighbour trimming a hedge and the sound of distant traffic from the main road.This was at peak traffic time too so someone else must have seen this? We have jets,small planes and helicopters fly over quite frequently as Liverpool airport is only 20 mins away,and this was something I have never seen before.I would estimate the object to be the height of a helicopter flying over the houses..totally silent and in bright daylight too!
