I saw an alien. It's taken many years to actually say something to someone other than family and friends.
I woke up after midnight and noticed a figure outside the double doors to my bedroom. I was on the far end of the bed and did not feel afraid. My first thought was...this is an alien but that is kinda crazy. Again, I was not afraid (which is a little unlike me and I was not still sleeping).
The alien was short, big head with large eyes. It also had on an irredescent cloak of some sort. Its arms were longer than its dress.
As I made it around my bed - it stared at me. It was less than 12 feet away and by the time I made it to my double doors, it lifted its long arm to the other arm and did something.
When I took two more steps...it disappeared.
I know what I saw was real and changed my belief. Note: Two weeks prior I kept hearing someone calling "mom" and nobody was there - I checked my kids and they were fine in bed.
One night, the "voice" called "mom" right next to my ear and I awoke saying "what" and opened my eyes. Nobody was there.
It woke my husband. Very strange.
