Telephoned Report: A man reports having witnessed a very peculiar light passing over Los Angeles at very high (angular) velocity. He first observed the object when it was almost directly overhead, and traveling at seemingly high speed, from west to east. It disappeared from his sight when it was approximately 30 degrees above the horizontal plane in the east.
The object exhibited a pronounced trail behind it.
