Harvard, IL. 11/8/03 8:00 pm 5 minutes triangle shape no noise traveling to the south south east lights on side and rear
went out to watch the eclipse of the moon and noticed what appeared to be an low flying aircraft to the south east. had a row of lights on what would be my left side with two large bright white lights at the rear. there was a flashing light at the top of the aircraft. can not remember what color. it made no noise i could hear. from where i stood, as it turned to the south, the lights at the rear appeared to be 3/4 to an inch apart. it was flying too low to be a commercial aircraft and appeared very large from my perspective. at the time i did not notice any other aircraft in the area. commercial aircraft the fly over my house from the west northwest are by my estimation are at approximately 20 thousand feet and decending. the object i have described appeared to be under 5 thousand feet
