This was the amber fireball...very smooth trajectory and very fast...just takin` its time it seemed....
I was grilling out on the balcony and cleaning up in between. I stepped outside and looked up... it was just getting dusk at 9:52 PM. I saw an amber "fireball" cross the horizon north of me in Gresham, Oregon at about 30 degrees towards Seattle. It transversed the horizon in about app. 2-1/2 minutes. Time enough for me to run into my apartment and grab my binoculars. It proceeded in a west to east trajectory very smoothly. No sound and no other lights. It appeared to be higher than conventional aircraft but lower than satellites. The movement was VERY smooth.
