Strange lights in a field
It’s been a long time, the date is not accurate, it was the peak of summer, I think 2003…maybe 2002. One thing is certain, it’s something I’ll never forget. This definitely made an impression on me.
It was nighttime and I was headed east on M-21 from Davison back to Lapeer after I helped my parents as their car wouldn’t start, as I crested a hill several miles out I noticed light off in the distance in a area that shouldn’t have light (as it was in the area I lived). Several miles later I crested another hill and I was much closer and noticed the light was definitely in a farm area with nothing that should be illuminating this sort of light and thought maybe it was a wedding or something. There is just a small home with an open field and a line of trees bordering the field. As I got closer I realized it was just down the road from my house, instead of turning south to my house I went north towards the lights. It is a small rural town and there was no traffic and I was able to drive very slowly along the road trying to get a view through the trees/ brush until I finally got a view of it.
It was a craft about the size of a football field hovering at roughly treetop level, it had marker lights along the edge like a man made airplane but made absolutely NO sound as it hovered, I was too scared to exit my vehicle but wanted a better view so we just rolled up the road a little but found only a smaller view several hundred feet down, but it was gone! The only thing I saw at that point in the sky was (probably) a mile away and I raced down the road to get another look and quickly realized it was far too fast for my truck.
