This sighting took place shortly after 9/11 which leads me to believe that the craft was curious and was conducting an investigation.
It was shortly after the Sept 11th attacks around 10:30 PM that my brother and I, as well as my wife, were in the back yard @ ((number deleted)) Liberty Ave and looked up in the sky to see what we believe to be an alien craft. We still don't know what caused us to look up into the sky because the craft was silent and almost completely transparent and it was dark and cloudy. The craft was in a pulled triangular shape in which we were only able to see the edges. It was moving exceptionally slow and was hovering low. It pass through the sky with complete silence. After it made its way out of our site, we noticed military jets starting to circle the area. The jets flew through the area numerous times then left to go back to surveillancing NYC.
