size of average hard cover book - about 4/5th red (front)and 1/5th white at end. our plane passed it at about 3,000 altitude - it must have flown in the same direction, because we passed it fairly slowly - it missed the wing by about 1 yard - it was perfectly on course (no wobbeling)- no attachments what-so-ever and it maintained same altitude for duration of observance.
