In the Eastern sky I witnessed what appeared to be a low level satellite, a bit brighter in lumeniscence and moving at about the same speed. It did seem to be lower than typical satellite orbit. As it approached it seemed to veer sharply in a button-hook pattern and dissappear to the south.
