I was out front of my house with my dogs and as always looking at the stars and I observed a red light in the sky flashing and moving very slow from the south to the south west. The light was flashing as if off and on and it moved so slow that it couldn't be an air plane. And then I observed in the north an air plane and the speed was faster that the object in the sky. It kept a steady even motion as it went across the sky and when it was in the west part of the sky it just vanished. It was if someone turned off the light. The thing that struck me was that it would move and at times seem to stop and stand still then move on.
