I saw 3 bright flashes,light up the sky. I looked up and saw large bright windows, and red,one white, and blue lights which appeared to be the lights of and aircraft. It then lit up extremely bright and appeared to explode.
I was driving a school bus full of kids home from a basketball game on Tuesday January 11th around 11 to 11:15 p.m.when I saw 3 bright flashes light up the sky.I couldn't believe it because we have been in a severe drought and there was no chance of rain in sight. I looked straight up out the front window and saw what looked like three brightly lit up windows and several colored lights like on an aircraft. There was a couple red ones a bright white one and some blue ones. Then the windows appeared to light up EXTREMELY BRIGHT then it appeared to explode. It did not look like an airplane diving,I thought at first it was some huge helicopter but it was really to humongeous for that. It also was reported to the Ellis County Sheriff at Hays Kansas, there was an article in their newspaper The Hays Daily News about it on Thursday Janurary 13.
