1999-12-13 - Michigan, MI - Light

There was 1 small orange light that apeared in the sky that I had been watching, after about 2 minutes, the light just turned off.

I had been sitting in my living room watching TV, when I just happened to look out the window and I saw a bright orange light in the sky. The only thing at first that I noticed about this light was that instead of having one or more lights that blink, this was one light to slow and staying to long to be a meteor. It was not an airplane, of that I am sure planes fly over my hous all of the time and this was definately not a plane. After about two minutes the light just dissapeared. I looked all over to see if it had chanced to fly behind a tree, it hadn't. I am not prone to see things not there. I am a very rational and scientific thinking person. I had even delayed reporting this event for fear of being called a cook or something of the sort. I believe that whatever I saw it wasn't a plane or meteor.
