1999-12-04 - Glasgow (UK/Scotland) - Light

04.45 Glasgow Scotland.

This sighting involved a very bright white flashing lighted object, which displayed multiple colored light blasts before executing a ‘staggered’ clockwise three movement triangle before going into a spinning blur of elliptical clockwise continuing hoops of light and then finally shooting off into the Southeast. This sequence of maneuvers took a matter of seconds before the UFO streaked off out of sight covering a distance of miles in only a second.

I knew in my heart of hearts right then, that this wasn’t any old weather balloon, Venus or reflections from birds but something much more extravagant and technologically sophisticated altogether.

It was an incredible sight to take in and left me with no doubt that I had just observed a technologically advanced object that not only defied our laws of physics but was also most certainly under some form of intelligent control.

This entire set of maneuvers took place very quickly and the entire sighting, from first noticing the UFO to its departure was over the period of no more than two minutes. After saying goodnight to my friend, I then began to head for home. What I had just witnessed was truly, invigoratingly mind-blowing. This was and could only be visual confirmation of proof of life. As the clarity of this set in, I was still completely unprepared for what was still to come, only minutes later...for at 5am on my return home, I experienced a second closer range sighting.

This second sighting was observed shortly afterwards while I was returning home. I had been in a hurry to get back to tell my brother what had happened when I spotted another similar UFO which appeared to hovering stationary over the engineering plant very close by on Newlands Road. The object itself was much closer than my just sighting prior to this and was only several hundred feet away and at a height of no more that 200 to 250ft.

Upon spotting it, I rushed down the street with the sole intention of reaching the house. I panicked my brother when I burst the door open and yelled for everyone to get outside. The UFO then began to display various bright light patterns for a moment or two before it grew a bright blinding light which surrounded the craft. The light then seemed to implode and the UFO was no longer there anymore. It had simply vanished. It was a remarkable sight to take in and completely inexplicable.

Reeling after these events, I then telephoned two police stations to inquire if anyone had reported seeing these objects. I did so out of curiosity in the hope that someone else may have also reported them and was informed that no one had reported anything to either station.

One hour later another UFO sighting was reported to have been observed on the West Coast of America. The similarity in terms of the movement of this object compared with my sighting is blatantly obvious.
