1999-11-01 - Walker County, TX - Circle

a dozen or more red balls in the middle of the day, forming, hovering, seperating, then spiraling straight upward over a pasture.

I was exploring our new acreage and taking photos of flowers, when I noticed what I first thought was a "banner trailing behind a small plane", but as the circles got closer, I noticed that there was no "air craft" and no "banner", But rather a dozen or more Red, circles. At first they were all clustered together, then they seperated into 3 groups. I live 16 miles from where our mail is delivered(77831), and am 18 miles from Huntsville Texas. The clusters remained stationary for at least a half an hour, then they formed into one unit again as in the beginning... forming a vortex shape and then shooting straight upward at an extremely high rate of speed. Faster than a rocket launch! I JUST found this photo today, it happened to be the only frame left on my roll of film or I would have taken many, many more! A friend suggest I submit the photo and information to you, even though it's "dated".
