an orange light observed going from the N.W to the S.E on 09/07/99 lower tx panhandle
in the early moring of sept.7.99 I observed an orange ball of light travelling in a S.E direction between Witchita falls & Ft Worth Tx. It was approx 5000ft up and about 1/4 mile away there were other aircraft around and although they were farther away I could see there indicator lights flashing but this was just a steady orange glow I drive an 18 wheeler for a living and am always watching the skies and stars at night and although I have seen other odd lights I still felt i could explain them but then I heard your report on Art's show re: sightings on the 7th farther to the S.E I felt this might be relevent I might also say that the area of texas I was in tends to be flat with a long horizon line and from the time I first saw the object to disapperence took approx 1 minute it was moving straight,flat and fast.
