I saw a strangely burning object about 10x as large as a flair. It wobbled, and an angular shape could be seen within it. #2 sighting was a solid craft looking a lot like an airplane at first glance.
The fireball seemed to be in trouble at some point and hesitated and seemed to try to shoot up but could not. At that time some of the firelike gases thinned, and a distinct 90 % angle appeared in the light as something solid. The other ship appeared thereafter. I grew up between 5 airports, one was Wright Patterson. C.A.P. during WWII taught me to notice sounds. The sound of the second craft was different somehow. It sounded like a recording. It appeared suddenly, and it looked like a very, very large airplane at first. As it went directly overhead I noticed how at different angles it could look like a disc, a cigar shape, an airplane or a triangle. I hope to send a drawing to explain. It appeared it was intercepting the object somehow, either by observation, escort or shooting it down. I have more to say, but need to talk confidentally to someone who investigates phisical proof of events. There were no markings that I could see on the craft, and it had 8 unremarkable lights. There was no head or tail to the craft. The front and back were identical. Neither objects left a trail.
