bright light fading to dim, followed by another dim light, both disappeared.
Sitting by the shore, noticed a BRIGHT light overhead tracking to the southeast.While I thought it was an airplane ( it was a circular light much brighter than a planet - venus/jupiter) for a moment the light suddenly dimmed and then it appeared to look like a satelite tracking through the sky from the left to the right while looking east over the ocean only a second later it suddenly dissapeared. It was a very clear night and plenty if other stars visable. It completely faded away and not into the horizon, was still relatively overhead. At same instant it disappeared another light not as bright was noticed tracking in the same direction on a different track at a slightly higher speed. This light stayed at a steady intensity without the bright flash that the other had made in the same spot. The second light dissapeared at a spot ahead of where the first had vanished.
