On the morning of February 23 or 24th several witnesses reported observing a fireball strecking through the night sky from, north eastern Ontario towns to the southwestern city of London, Ontario. Many thought it was an airplane on fire and called 911. There was press coverage on CKCO-TV which described the event as a meteor entering the atmosphere. Duration of the sighting and number of witnesses should deem further investigation.
