An aircraft of some type was seen in the sky with approximately five lights flashing in sequense in a straight line, possibly in a circle. The object was closer to us at first then went straight out into the sky and became like a star to the human eye. The object continued to move closer to the earth than far out over the course of the night. The lights continued to flash in repetition.
