Object appeared in the western sky. Very Bright. Dropped suddenly to the west and disapeared behind the horizon of Portland's west hills. Object was neither a falling star nor a meteor entering atmosphere ( both of which I've witnessed in the past. Appeared to be falling. Object was white orb with no other details
