Three very bright lights close to the ground.
I was driving west bound on interstate 40 in CA around the 35 to 40 mile marker.
My wife and I noticed a very bright light about 1/2 mile south of the interstate. There were three very bright white lights shining on the ground. The highest of the lights was aroung a hundred feet off the ground and the other two were spaced ten to fifteen below the top one "there was a space between the bottom two".
The lights did not seem to be moving. I thought they had built a tower and the lights were on the top of it but I had never noticed a tower there before.
I keep watching the light until a hill blocked my view and I remembered the mile marker at that point.
The next day I came back past that very point and looked for the tower. They was nothing in the area. I looked every time I passed that area and never seen anything again.
P.S.--Other people were talking about the lights on the CB so I know I was not dreaming.
