3 red lights in equilateral triangle formation flying east to west at 500-1000 feet.
About helicopter speed? 50 mph? Size unknown. Black craft on black sky, couldnt see it. but it seemed big.
I would describe it as a red-light TR-3b with no center light.
SILENT.
Was not spinning or altering course.
Noticed it above me at about 12 or 1 o'clock angle.
Watched it fly straight until trees blocked view at about 2 o'clock angle.
