Oblong craft, moved slowly across night sky out to sea. No noise or lights
About 3.00am early morning in March 1998 (Exact day unknown)My wife and I were in our front garden taking our cat to do her business(She was a very old cat and was deaf and we used to take her out to look after her incase she wandered off onto the roadway or got lost) It was a very still morning, cold and there was no cloud cover. I dont know why but i looked up into the night sky and saw what I can only describe as not being from this earth. The object was massive and was oblong in shape. bearing in mind it was dark I had to focus to get a view of it. I spoke to my wife and she looked up and was as mesmerised as I was. The craft moved slowly towards the east (out to sea) there was no noise at all and no lights displayed on the object, It seemed to stand out from the night sky and my wife and I would say that it was of silver colour. I would estimate the object being the size of say a football pitch. We watched it for about 5 minutes until it disappeared out of sight. (Field of vision as opposed to distance) We have never really spoke of the incident(outside of family and close friends) but it did have a profound effect on us. We are both professional people, and i would say well adjusted. We firmly believe now in the existence of crafts that are say outside of the norm.
