Black diamond shapped object flew over Cannon AFB.
I dont remember the exact date but I was an Airman at Cannon AFB between Sept. 96 and Nov. 99. The sighting took place in 97 or 98, I think. Anyway, I was carring munitions out to the flight line, I stopped to do a FOD check before entering the flight line when a black diamond shaped object flew over the flight line and runway.
The runway runs east to west and the object came from the north heading south. I would say it was the size of a large suv. It had no wings and made no sound.
This thing should not be flying. It was in the middle of the day, nice clear sky, it couldnt have been over a 100 feet high and maybe a couple of hundred feet in front of me. I just stood there and watched it fly south until it was out of sight.
