1997-11-14 - Corbett, OR - Formation

Summary : we were driving west on chamberlain rd. which overlooks the columbia river gorge toward washugal washington. we witnessed several, at least twenty, lights off to the north, toward washington, moving in an easterly direction through the gorge. The lights seem to be contained within a glowing nebula. At the front of the formation was a dark object, larger than an airplane. lights looked like streamers breaking off the main body. object moved quickly up the gorge away from the coast. it definitly did not move west.
