Summary : It was a green light that hovered over the horizon being very still. After a few seconds of looking at it, it dropped straight below the horizon and dissappeared.
The floating green light seemed to be about ten miles away, just hovering about 5-10 degrees off of the horizon. It was definitely not a reflection (I was in the car at the time) because I could see it as it was dropping shining through the trees. Then it fell below the horizon and dissappeared.
