Triangle formation over route 60 around fall 1997 or 1998
heading south east on Route 60 (towards new kent county) on the way to the church that hosted my Thursday night boyscout meetings.. to the right of me(passenger, I was either 12 or 13 years old when this happened) on the side of route 60 the road is lined with trees/forrest and there was some lights flashing between the trees as we proceeded down the road(at roughly 55mph) the lights kept pace with the vehicle i was in(i assumed this was probably a helicopter) for a few seconds maybe 30 seconds, then it started to move ahead of us while still behind the tree line, raised up(im not sure about this, it may have been this high already) and literally just over the tree line a perfect triangle of white lights proceeded to cross over the road in front of us, in which it then stayed stationary over the highway and started to rotate(this part I am not sure if it was rotating clockwise or counter clockwise) and it did this as we passed under it and I turned around and watched it keep rotating, we turned to the road with the church and i lost sight of it.. it was dead silent, the uner of the object, the triangle was darker than the sky above it.. there is a army base and a big international airport(RIC) to the south of where I was
